From the A12 – London & Chelmsford,
Take A414 towards Maldon, go through Danbury & turn off for Woodham Walter village. (Sign-posted from here.) After the church turn left in front of ‘The Bell Public House’ & follow the road out of the village for approximately ½ mile.

From A12 – Colchester & Witham,
Take Hatfield Peverel turning. At top of slip road opposite ‘The Duke of Wellington Public House’ turn left towards Maldon. Take right turning at fork heading towards Ulting & Woodham Walter. Follow country lanes, past the locks & river until you reach the centre of Woodham Walter village. Turn right at ‘The Queen Victoria Public House’ & right again at the end of Top road. Follow road out of the village for approximately ½ mile.
